BLOOD LINE

Blood lines are important for farmers growing livestock, they allow us to select traits in animals that are favorable to pass on to the next stock via breeding. Also they provide us with a history of the animals lineage. In Wagyu this is very important because Wagyu cattle from the Tajima line have a great history in relation to marbling in the meat. For your reference we have attached a blood line chart below which goes back five generations for your perusal. This blood line includes some big names such as Michifuku (IMP JAP), Yasumi doi and Yasutani doi which have been prized for the quality of their beef, not just in Australia but Japan as well.

Welcome to Two Cow Creek Wagyu. Our farming principles are based on feeding our livestock with fresh grown pasture on our own paddocks. We employ the concept of paddock rotation and planting of different feed crops each year, creating a very natural feeding process. All livestock are fed on the property in South Australia's beautiful Adelaide plains and not sent off site to feedlots for rapid growth. By feeding our livestock on high energy crops we provide a more easily digestible feed ration that helps to convert good quality natural feed into body weight. Our family run farm aims to provide the best possible quality Wagyu beef grown naturally with a high grade of marbling and unique flavor.

We hope you have the opportunity to experience our produce soon.
